Why use sphere? I haven't looked too much into this, but uoxdev.com redirects here now. http://www.runuo.com/
Seems to me that if I were to start a server (hrm... may have to think on that now that I have new computer), I would probably try to do it with this.

I can't find when it will be released, but the latest beta says it is about where they want the first released version to be.
