Nightmares

Hmm.. last night.

In my dream, I was able to fly, and turn invisible (guess it was too much Starcraft that night..)

After a while, I noticed Japerman* planes doing a bombing run on our neighborhood. I decided that, since I was able to fly and such, I would save our town.

Of course, the Japerman planes could see me, and began shooting me somehow.

I got hit a few times, but then I was able to escape, to K-Mart, so I could buy some kind of missile defense system (Yep, too much Starcraft.)

Then, I woke up. Or at least, I thought I did.

I got out of bed, noticed that it was cold. (Yes, I could feel EVERYTHING, surely some of you have had that experience in dreams before.) I walked the whole way downstairs from my room, without a thought, thinking about how stupid that dream was.

I glanced out the window, and I saw... planes in a holding pattern outside of my house. At this point, I can actually feel my heart pounding in my chest..

I saw the bomb drop. Heartbeat jumps into rabbit-mode.

Heard nothing, but everything went black, for at least 5 minutes. No sound, no feeling, no sight, at ALL. Heartbeat wasn't there. During this time, I was sure I was dead, and my soul hadn't left my body yet...

Then I heard a truck horn, three times, extremely loud.

Then I woke up for real, heart pounding, sweaty, the whole works. There was no actual truck anywhere, my brain must've slipped those sounds in there to wake me up..

*Japerman = Japanese + German alliance. In dreams, sometimes you just KNOW things, even if they aren't shown.
