I agree, the beast dog and the jackal kicked ass. The toaster-dog was a work of genius. But it's all dragged down by that ghastly poodle. Seriously, how do you go from a badass pre-historic sabretooth dog to a fucking poodle?

Well, the poodle fit the time period.

Either way, you have to admit, Secret of Evermore was pure genius.

A hunting dog would have been more appropriate, in my opinion. A hound of some sort. Poodles are just lame.

Secret of Evermore was certainly a great game, but Mana was the better of the two, in my opinion.

Clouded by the brilliance that is EarthBound!

And to a lesser extent, Secret of Mana!

On the contrary, so brilliant I have to wear Ray-Bans when I play them. And a lead vest. And an oxygen mask...

Wait, maybe this is more of an issue with my television set.

Or your somewhat bad taste in games.

How about this...I'll go play Secret of Mana right now. I'll play it through all the way until the end, then I'm going to make a thread debating whether Secret of Mana or Secret of Evermore is better.

Seiken Densetsu 3 is fun, although the magic system is dumb/gay.

Seiken Densetsu 3 was alright, just too complicated compared to Secret of Evermore/Secret of Mana.
