I might go for another video card though, maybe a 128 MB 9800+?

Personally, I'd prefer the extra video memory, which is why I made the selections I did.

I dont know how to put the thigns together, are they all plug and play?

If I were to buy part per part, what would I need? and what is the best place to get these things at lowest price?

Make a list of things I'll need and the best one that I can get but keep under the budget?

ex:
AMD athlon 64 2800 - price

I will accept nothing under an Athlon 64. The performance dropoff from an AXP is depressing.

But why make it at this craptastic site? It's cheaper to construct.

They wouldnt offer it on their site if it doesnt work, unless they're jackasses.

that integrated xpress 200 kind of sucks. http://www.tomshardware.com/motherbo...xpress-15.html

You can see how the x600 used in the above benchmarks compares to other cards here http://graphics.tomshardware.com/gra...charts-03.html

Actually, the vid card I recommended is PCI Express...oops! Well, at least I didn't actively recommend a case with a power supply that will catch fire if you look at it the wrong way.

I recommend a 5900se, they overclock easily to regular 5900's, which are still faster than a 9600xt...and cheaper.

I've bought from chiefvalue before, decent store.
