i am just wondering why there is no white history month. i mean dam there is a black history/hispanic history but there is not a white history month. White people are still the majority of the united states population so why the fuck dont we have a month??

Okay, so far I haven't really been too serious with my posts in here. I've just been posting to post. I'm actually going to reply to this topic in all seriousness, now. This is going to be blunt, but please don't be offended by it. If it comes off as offensive, that's not the intention, I'm just trying to say why I believe that we do have black history month and not a white history month and a Native American history month.
The fact of the matter is, we don't need a Native American history month, or a white history month. Like I said before, this will be blunt, but don't be offended. The truth is, many minorities
hate white people. It's sad, and may not be right, but it's the truth. Now, which minority in America do you think hates white people more than anyone? The answer is obvious. Blacks.
Now, we all know that the government is run by mostly white people. Blacks obviously don't like that fact. Blacks are also currently the largest minority group in America. That fact doesn't pose well for the government. The greatest political mind in the history of mankind said (translated, of course) "A prince ought to be either feared or loved, if he can not be both." Well, by the very nature of our constitution, the people of this country can not be governed solely through fear, thus America must adjust accordingly. I believe that America introduced black history month to get some of the blacks on their side, nothing more, nothing less. It was more politics than who deserves what. So, in a way, there was a
need for black history month, not out of morality or as retribution, but as politics.
So why not a Native American history month? Well, the population of Native Americans is so insignificant that they pose no real threat. They are easy to be overlooked because their voices just aren't loud enough. What about the Mexicans? Well, a lot of the Mexicans are crossing the border just to be here. Mexicans won't have any problems with the U.S. government as long as they are allowed to be here. White people, for the most part, have nothing against our government, and thus we don't need anything like a white-history month to please them. Plus, I don't think a white-history month would please white people unless it was under a colored government.
But we know that black history month is old and outdated correct?
Wrong! If black history month were done away with it would cause an outcry in the black community where many of the ignorant blacks would simply claim that the government was going back to a policy of racism. When it comes to strong issues such as racism, many people, especially black I've noticed, don't want to hear reason. Unprecedented riots would be inevitable.
That's why I believe we have black history month. Whether or not it worked out that way, I don't know, but that's what I believe was the original intention of the introduction of black history month.
