Most games Terms of Survice and User Agreemtns state you dont own the shit, they do, so if it goes missing tuff luck. this case will not go anywhere.
simply put, if this rule is changed games will me destryed, as everyone will claim the same shit over and over, saying its not duped.
i say if the item is found to be duped, track that items history and find out whom in this case all four sowrds belonged to at one point, and ban that player. so like if the player bob duped them, his name and accout or whatever would show up on all 4 swords. since they are dupes, and hes had all 4 of them, i think its safe to say he duped them.
so ban him and any accouts under his card, IP whatever, as for removing the duped item, i say do so, but give the player his/her criedts back (this can also be determined by trade logs ect to find out how much the player payed for the item with ingame gold)
as for e-bay shit, well the TOS says your not supost to e-bay for items you down own. and if you do, do it at own risk.
your own fault, tuff luck.
if your stupid enough to buy bytes of information and pixles of color, then hey! send me some money i will send you a disk or cd with lots of colors and bytes of information. then you will actualy own it! fuking retards.
here we go, as an example. right on of Terms of Survice agreemnt from EA.com
c) Rights.
You acknowledge and agree that all characters created, and items acquired and developed as a result of game play are part of the Software and Service and are the sole property of EA.com.
yea, its true, all that writeing and words you see when you install a game, where you just hit "I Agree" thats in there in some way shape or form.
sometimes the game even makes you hit the i agree button every time you start the game, or when you make an accout with the game,
you ppl realy sould read up on it, to know that you as a playr have no rites in the game at all.
