No school today, because it is extremely cold. At around 6, it was -16, and a winchill of around -40 outside. Wahoo, something good about being in Minnesota.

Actually most schools in harsh wintery areas usually have alloted snow days, lets say six per year (which isn't uncommon), they assume that for 6 days, there won't be any school. Of course this never happens, so they usually give us a "free" snow day near the end of the year.
That sucks. When I lived up north, there were allocated snow make up days, and we only went for as many as we had snow days; we had the minimum allowable school year every year. Looks like you get screwed over.
I hate people who talk about seasons and the cold and all that bullshit...it's the same as those white people who talk about how their eyes change colors with their 'moods' or some shit.
