No school today, because it is extremely cold. At around 6, it was -16, and a winchill of around -40 outside. Wahoo, something good about being in Minnesota.

This is the second day we have been out of school. w00t. This morning it was -51 C.

Yea I know what you guys mean. This morning it was a blistering 71 degrees. Needless to say I needed my jacket to go out the door this morning...

Perhaps, but then you have to make up that day at the end of the school year.

Lucky Canadian, Jamesadin. If I was farther up north past Minneapolis I would've had yesterday off too. But hey, I did have yesterday off because I was sick.

Actually most schools in harsh wintery areas usually have alloted snow days, lets say six per year (which isn't uncommon), they assume that for 6 days, there won't be any school. Of course this never happens, so they usually give us a "free" snow day near the end of the year.

Meh, I wish we had cold days like that. No I don't, I hate the snow and cold temps.

That sucks. When I lived up north, there were allocated snow make up days, and we only went for as many as we had snow days; we had the minimum allowable school year every year. Looks like you get screwed over.
