Mj's math challenge
This should be a lot easier than the last one.
Find the determinant and inverse of the following matrix: 1 2 1 1 3 1 1 4 4 |
being able to solve that would make me superior to someone who can't
|
Hah, I learned how to do that stuff like FOUR years ago.
And yet I don't remember. The system failed me. |
I could do these in like 5 seconds flat back in HS.
I'm with Xenn. |
What exactly is the point of this? I mean the equation and forumlas itself, do they even ever apply to anything?

Answer to question 2: Yes. Most advanced math is made as a response to a question that is posed that can't be handled by current mathematics. Aside: Even neglecting its applications, math is a field worthy of study in its own right. |
Very true, but what good would this one specific type of math ever affect my life? It probably won't, therefourth I don't care.
|
Then no point really posting here...
