Starwars DVD Release

Any unlucky soul with balls enough to admit they were waiting at midnight last night for the Starwars DVD release? My goodness what a dorkfest. I wonder if Triumph the dog made an appearance.

If that's for starwars.. I shudder to think what doom 3's line looked like.

Ummm your wrong sov. DVD players were MADE for those movies. I just picked my copy up.

I can't possibly see why you'd be waiting outside of a Best Buy for it, though. It's not like you won't be able to easily find one amid the plethora of KMarts, Walmarts, Targets, Pamidas, Shopkos, Circuit Citys and Fry Electronics stores found in nearly every populated section of the country. It's not like a console launch, where the company only produces a small number for release during the first few weeks and then ramps up the availability afterwards. I could drive up to KMart after work and buy fifty of these boxsets if I wanted to, and there would still be plenty more where they came from.

I would have been there, as I DO have a car. It wouldn't have been for Star Wars, though, I hate those movies. I would have been there buying a new CD deck for my car....CD deck > Star Wars.

I like Star Wars but why the hell would you want a Stormtrooper suit? That's practically begging to be made fun of/beaten up.
