I'm in a band..
Reply

We havn't really named it, I'm thinking on Pain Hammer, one of the suggestions that somebody said in Zelaron a while back...

I play guitar #2, my bros friend plays drums, my brother plays bass, my brothers other friend plays guitar #1...

We know how to play pink floyd, Wish you were here...

I can play the middle of the song perfectly, well not perfect.. but.. OKAY

and guitar #1 plays intro./outro/

Drums.. Well he's good, and my brother and I just started playing our guitarz..
EDIT:

Well, theres no band just yet, but my brother and i and the guitarist #1 all want it, but the drummer we dont know about..

I think it was Penny that suggested that name for emo bands.

I did make that suggestion, it is actually the "name" of a deceased drummer from a band called Mayhem.

Emo sucks by the way.

Oh and this Painhammer guy, the rest of his band all killed each other's asses because they were all satanists.

Slaynish, you're not good enough to play in a band. I would give it like 2-3 years before you go into a band, but thats just me.
You ever look at Soulfly/Sepultura tabs? I wa able to play 90% of their songs the first 2 weeks I played guitar, and they're big names. It's not always about talent, it's about the sound.

I'll try.

But Shinto, anyone can make a band.

All you need to do is learn 6 basic chords, you can start writing music in NO time. Thats what I've done.

From what I hear, Pink Floyd uses basicly those 6 chords.

Sec, ill tell them to you.

A
Am
G
E
D
C

I'm sure both of you know them all.

Anyways, A band is a band, i said in the end of the post that it isnt really a ' band ' yet, because all we do is play songs in unison, and just pretend we're good. So far, we've got some Blink 182 down, some Pink Floyd, some System of a Down, and a little bit of nothing else matters/ One

#1 guitarist is a good music writer, not so much on lyrics, but You've gotta take life one step at a time, you know>?

Nah
Chord are half the fun, i find them easier.

They are SUPER easy to learn, its like your phone number, once you dial it about 10 times, you've got it stuck in your head for good.

Too bad the name "Anal Cunt" is already taken because I think it's fitting. Post a clip or something so we can be sure you don't suck.

Yeah Shinto, I agree with you, but don't bash chords anyways... just because something doesn't use face melting guitar riffs doesn't mean that it isn't good music. Look at Pink Floyd. You don't have to be good to be in a band anyways, you just have to alter your style of music according to your talent.

Look at Green Day and Blink 182. All they play is chords.

Emo sucks, yes. But quite a few Emo bands have the potential to be great indie bands.
