someone told me a hammerdin is the best way to start off cause its pretty simple, i just wanted some advice so i dont make any mistakes. i maxed hammer and im working on maxing vigor and blessed aim as they're the syns for it, other than that, what should i do. i have a shield with +1 pally skills and a sword with +2 pally skills (the req str on this thing is like 135, should i find a different weapon or is this putting my str that high ok?)
ill try a more advanced build later, but im more about fun than anything else so this should suffice for now.

well if you dont know concentration aura adds damage to hammers as well so you should max it after you max hammers, concentration, blessed aim, and vigor i always put my extra points into holy shield because then i dont need as much dex to keep my block maxed.

Get a Wizspike, Frostburn gloves, Herald of Zak shield, couple of SOJ's, Shako, and you are in business. For armor, if you are poor like me Skin of Viper works though the Guardian Angel has better resistance figures. Most people use Travellers for boots but I'm sure others are out there that work. Mara's would be my choice for ammy.
I had never made a hammerdin either until recently but I was amazed at how quick they become lethal in PvM.
Some of the other regs in here probably have better advice though than me, especially for PvP...
are you ladder or nonladder? try to get enigma and hoto, if u are nonladder those shouldnt be that hard are they? and on ladder sojs are worth like enigma and hoto i think
