Actually there is dirt in the gas. Have you ever changed your fuel filter without relieving the pressure? I did once, and was letting the gas flow into a jar, after the filter, and after the jar was about half way full, I realized I needed to open the gas cap. But I noticed little floaties in my gas, and after a few minutes it settled and there was quite a bit actually. So I know the dirt in the gas thing is more true than not.

As for the squeezing the nozzle, that sounds bogus.

And the boycotting the imported gas thing is actually a good idea, because he also offered a list of companies that don't import any gas. The only problem with that is, after feeling the pinch, they will lower thier gas prices, and when they are a dollar less, people will flock to those stations again.

After reading the part about the floating roof though, I have been quite interested in seeing if that is true. I may buy some small jars or something to see if that is true...
