Yeah, that is very true. I've actually done a design project to help visually impared individuals. We were trying to invent some sort of vibrating device that would emit and receive different waveform intensities via a piezoelectric element for amplification, which would enable them to walk around without the aid of a walking cain or seeing eye dog. It was never fully developed, but anyway, my point being this: I visited a school for the blind, and they actually read througha line of brail just as fast as I could read the same line to myself, it was quite extraordinary.
