I'm just having a hard time figuring out why you had to use the patch when you quit the first time? I know what you meant, but were you seriously addicted at the age of 17 or younger since you stopped again for your second time?

I don't know about you, but I started smoking when I was 13 when my brother brought me out and got me drunk for the first time. I didn't really like it, but did it anyway to get him to think I was cool. Well, I continued to smoke until a little less than a year ago. I just woke up one day and randomly decided to try and quit. I really still don't know why to this day. Anyway, long story short, after about 6 years + of heavy smoking, about a pack and half a day from 17-20, I still didn't need to use anything. I just slowed down and although I'm not 100% smoke free now (I only smoke when I'm drinking, which is still like 5 days a week at least... ) I'm only at like 1 and a half packs a week. Good, but I still ahve my work cut out for me.
