omg this is pissing me off...
 

can someone post what the hell the little gem in the chat screen does cuz its pissing me off!...someone already said if you press it LOTS of times it turns all ur items into uniques or something like that...i spent twenty minutes in a cow game looking for a regular hydra bow and then like an hour in the chat screen clicking the little gay purple gem!! so can someone post wat it does or like check if it sends some sort of a packet.

p.s. that would be gay if it was a working dupe that blizzard made just to insult hackers by making them try hard when all they need to do is press the gem :)

so...it does nothing...this cant be true...blizzard would never make something without a purpose...i bet you its something big...really big...something that they will release to the public when diablo 2 gets really old and no one plays it anymore so that when we find out wat the say it does we will be like "cool, d2 kicks ass, iam gonna go play it." then they wont have to make a diablo 2: attack of the killer teletubby from hell or a diablo 3..

It was just there for amusement. Blizzard said they never thought it would gain so much popularity.

ppl told me it makes a gem shrine go when u press it and make a game hhmmmm i dont ususally see a gem shrine in blood moor...

Currently it does absolutly nothing. let it go.

it changes all random shrines into gem shrines

it makes u get 10x better drops if you get Perfect Gem enabled

I think that gem on the older versions did something actually.

Some have said in beta versions it was going to have mute capabilities.
