Find Item Skill?!?!
 

I want to start a little debate/strategy session on the barbarian skill Find Item.

1. Have you ever found anything good using find item?
(My personal best was a Tal Rasha Plate)

2. How many points to put into it.

3. Wheres the best place/monster to use it.
(I prefer cow level)

I have heard some people swear by this skill and others curse it as the most worthless in the game. Lets hear some opinions!!!

u found tal armor wit find item?? whoa.. so jw.. do u think it could have a higher chance den pindle runs..? or duz tha items dat come out depend on tha monster u use it on..? if dis is so easy to mf and get good items i wanna try makin a barbie like dis =)

Yes your mf does apply when using find item, I am not sure that the skill lvl of Find item has anything to do with the quality of the "find" but I seem to recall reading somewhere that it does not, it only affects your chances of getting something period. I also heard theat using the skill on certain monsters can yield good results.

This is the info I was hoping to get with this thread since I am to lazy to go find it myself.

ok 2 things about find item

1st: More points in it doesnt affect mf only the chance to find an item..
2nd: As with chests in hell. You can find ANY item from a corpse the mlvl doesnt matter with find item its like opening a chest.

i use maxed find item in cows and find storms and eagles and shti all the time
oh and 1 gf

And if you dont want to max it just use 2 Heart Carvers for an additional 8 Pts. to the skill and boost with BC before popping corpses.

If your going to MF with a barb, its basically vital.
