smite
 

was chatting with a few friends at work and a smite pally came up. told them all about it and what eq i was wearing. one of them said that smite pallys suck. also said that deadly strike don't work for smite pally. im like aaahh...

here is my build that im trying to do.

gullianums face or what ever
highlords wrath
fort armor
lacerator axe
hoz uped
gore riders
laying of hands/life tap gloves
crendemdum belt/trang belt
all resist rings/raven/dwarf/wisp



also i have been messing with certain items. like i found that when i smite with the lacerator equiped amp dmg goes off. so what if i equiped a static weapon. would i be womping down on bosses? and would life tap go off and i actually leach life for a change? and does deadly strike work for pallys?

You dont really want any other curses taking place of the life tap. Only 1 curse at a time remeber. I don't think deadly strike works for pallys, but your friends are probably just saying they suck because they get theyre asses handed to them by smiters all the time. They do crazy dmg, they hit every time, and can get crazy defense. For for belt Id use a dungos. For pvp Id use steelrends. You really only need absorb rings if your planning on going toe to toe w/ Uber Mephy.

he told me to use a cats eye instead of a highlords..im like wtf what would that help a smite pally..and grief..i really don't have a chance to mf..lot of hours at work you know how it is.

Ya pretty much all smiters use highlords or maras. You should hit IAS limit w/out a cats eye.
