They could use them for torture effectively I'd say.

Within seconds, the beam will heat the exposed skin tissue to a level where intolerable pain is experienced and natural defence mechanisms take over.

This intense heating sensation stops only if the individual moves out of the beam's path or the beam is turned off.

The sensation caused by the system has been described by test subjects as feeling like touching a hot frying pan or the intense radiant heat from a fire. Burn injury is prevented by limiting the beam's intensity and duration.
So it's like a microwave gun. *points at bag of un-popped popcorn* *waits 10 seconds* *eats popcorn*

HandOfHeaven 2005-07-06 09:45 PM

Mmmmm.....popcorn.....*drool*.

ISO: salt

sue_13 2005-07-07 08:59 AM

And that cheese that you put on top. That shit owns.

JRwakebord 2005-07-07 09:10 AM

Ew. Butter and salt are the only things allowed on my popcorn. No cheese. No jizz either.

Medieval Bob 2005-07-07 09:15 AM

Rgr that. And I'm not really a fan of butter... I mean, I might be, but whenever I say, "Just a little butter," they pick up the butter squirter, take the lid off, and dump the entirety onto my popcorn.

Lenny 2005-07-07 11:44 AM

Butter??

And you've got to put your own butter on??

Here we can choose from plain, salted, buttercream and/or toffee...and they all come ready done!!

WetWired 2005-07-07 12:25 PM

Well yeah, but that kind is more expensive.

Lenny 2005-07-07 12:35 PM

Surely it's not that much? Last time I got some it was only something like £1, £1.50 for a big bag!!

WetWired 2005-07-07 12:38 PM

Compared to about $0.50 for a bag of microwavable popcorn, that's a lot.
