Def is not really what counts, it's the smite damage it gives. :D

Since when eth and non eth shield give different smite damage... wtf you talking about. You want to waste a Zod rune on a def lower than normal sheild? Then you can't socket with anything else.

It's up'd and non up'd, not eth and non eth.... unless i'm crazy.

And to my knowledge, up'd gives more smite damage.

i up'd a 187%ed HoZ, it only got 4 more def, it only has 485 def if i remember correctly.
