Question Bout Mf
 

Does Mf Work on bosses? Cuz someone i was dueling said that he had found facets, unique rings-ammys, griffons, etc. with only a 45% wartrav and shako. I ddint beleive it at first but more and more ppl said they have no mf and finding alot of good items.

Well like most people here say, 10% is the MF, 90% is luck :D

i read somewhere in net that blizzard made they game have a roll if you in good roll you will find good stuff but if you in bad roll then you luck will be bad i believe that too yesterday i did about 800 pindle run and didn't find what i hope for. then next day i did they same think found 2 tal armor in 4 runs and more. that what i believe don't know if that wrong or right

I use 43% mf on my amazon and do Pit Runs. Doing about 3 weeks worth these are my finds:

3x Shaefers Hammer
1x Grandfather
1x Windfore
2x Facets
1x Perfect Echutas
1x Vex Rune
2x Verdugoes
2x Windhammer
4x Spirit Ward
2x Ormus
1x Mal
1x Maras Keliedescope

5x Elite 4 Socket Eth Shields all with at least 28 Res
1x Non Eth 6 Socket Superior Zerker Axe
3x 6 Socket Crusader Bow

and a bunch of other random shit. My amazon is 99 and i do beleive in 1.10 MF has mroe to do with level then the MF gear itself. Also remember anything over 450% MF is very useless. MF is a higher % chance to find MAGIC ITEMS. Not rares, not unqiuws, just magical. Rares and unqiues simple drop a lil more often due to having magical antributes. SO the more MF you use, the more MAGICAL items you find.

Anyone else thinking the same thing as me?

yeah a couple days ago i found 2 tals armors in an hour or less on pindle. Kind of surprised me cause i never find a damn thing

and found another tal armor just now

the only things i find are good uniqs/rares but no1 needs them (like doom, gore's, eth edge, ...)

Where do you get your information? :confused:

MF% affects the amount of Magical/Rare/Set/Unique items, just over 110%, Rares/Sets/Elites start receiving diminishing returns.

MF% affects the quality of the drop (ie: Magical/Rare/Set/Unique), and Character Level affects the item-class (ie: Normal/Exceptional/Elite) of the drop. The higher level you are, the better chances of an Elite dropping.

Following that, your character's level is VITAL to MFing, as it increases the amount of elites that drop. More elites dropping = more chances for that elite to be unique/set/etc. Your character's level is quite important, but to completely disregard MF% is stupid. The only time you would want a high level character and 0% MF is if you're looking for Socketed/Superior items to trade off.

The 450% thing is a myth. There WAS a bug a long time ago (1.07 or 1.08) that going over a certain MF% would make it to where no sets/uniques dropped, but that was patched.

what might be true is that after 650-700% mf the REAL uniq/set mf increases slightly compared to the global mf, like 700% is almost as good as 80000%

After about 300%, unique find goes up very little. Takes like 1000% for it to be like 30% higher than at 400%. But it still affects it.

i tried with my ama on SP, and if ur over 800-850% it goes up like 1 or 2 when u boost it to 99999999999999% (not worth it, really ^_^)
