V/T questions :D
Ok this is what i need to know.
-What's the difference between range 2 and range 3? You hit from further away is my guess. -What's the better weapon for a v/t: Shael'd Astreon or Ber'd Stormlash. Astreon is superior to Stormlash to FoH and gives -25% slow and also does 33%Crushing Blow and a range of 2. Stormlash gives more Crushing Blow and does Nadoes on strike which also stuns and it has a range of 3. -Should i use shako or BerBer CoA? Shako gives more life and mana, but CoA gives me 50% DR with all my gear. That's the max i believe. -Anyone ever went Judicator Vs Liberator? If you did, what did do you think of a Liberator? And how would a 4 Lo shield help Vs Templars? They only give +20% max resis. That's all for now. :D For those who knew i tried to build a T/V, after testing it out, my verdict is... Stick with the V/t, much superior. |
Question 1:
Range simply allows you to hit at a farther distance Question 2: Asterons is a BM weapon, if your a BM newb use it. It is concidered a BM weapon due to slow, everyone knows someone using slow is a newb. Asteron also is bugged, the +damage from the weapon adds to your smite but doesnt show on damage display. The resulti s like another 120 smite. Question 3: Shako is a much better option since you can still get 49% DR from a shako setup and it does alot more damage in a shako set up as well as life. Question 4: Every pally has a weakness, jLiberators have a weakness when they charge, you can FoH them or smite the shit out of them. Question 5: The 4x Lo shield set up is only good if your going manner duels in NM. If its a hell game its going to be completely useless due too -100% Hell, -150% Conviction, -10-80% depending on gear and then you still need +75 to get positive resitances. |

No problem.
Basiclly it boils down to manner being nothing cheap at all making the duels very challenging and strategy based. It takes your dueling skills to a extreme new level. Anyone can toss on anything onto a character that most ppl use like Exile/Doom/CoA smiters, or Marrowbug/Enigma/08 Valk Necros and win without question. This doesnt make you a good dueler, it makes you a basic dueler who thinks they are good with a Necro or hammerdin thats extremely over powered and it doesnt take much skill to win. 1.10 Destroyed duels to the extreme. Duels are now like 30 seconds and 1-4 hit kills. Dueling really isn't as much fun as it use too be. |
Hmmmm it's true that duels last 30 seconds and less now. Can you tele on mannered duels? Cause wouldn't sorcs have an unfair advantage?

Depends, I allow teleport in manner duels but some legit ruled clans like Clan Honor dont allow teleport an any character at all. Elders of the Dragons allows it for all classes except Necros and Trapsins (not including DF) and Barbarians cant use it vs. amazons.

2) ber SL > ber/shael astreons if you are lik eme and know how to use range to your advantage even +1 range makes all the difference, and the tornados help stunning 3) shako > coa, i think i mentioned this in my guide 4) judi's and lib's are egually matched, ive seen some very long duels between the 2 and mainly ended up as a draw 5) having 95% lighting resists with conviction on PWNS any form of lighting, even 85% is enough to stop the 8k+ trappers you learned the hard way, as i warned you earlier o_O |
Well if you use the skill Lightning Resist, it gives +1% to max llight resis per point you have in it. So you still wouldn't need a 4xLo shield since the max is 95%. But it's true that 85% is enough to stop most of the lite attacks.
Personnally i prefer using a Wisps and T-Gods. Either way, Lite users do no damage so it's all cool :D I learned the hard way, but I'd rather learn from my own mistakes. :D Thx for the warning though. ^_^ |
