please help me... when i'm installing the diablo 2... when it came at one part.. it say.. error... cannot locate d2sfx.mpq.... :confused: please help me.. coz i really wanna play dis game.... :)

If you are installing Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, you need to have the Classic Diablo II CD-Keys as well already installed for you to play the game. Hence, you need to buy the Diablo Battle Chest and install multiple, maybe 4 or so discs, before you can actually play DII:LoD.

hm.. actually... i'm installing diablo 2.... none of the expansion set:Lord of Destruction..... where can i get the classic diablo II cd-keys?? wut do you mean by install Diablo Battle Chest multiply? Please help me i wanna play the diablo II ...

you have to BUY not install the DIABLO BATTLE CHEST, it comes with regular Diablo 2 and Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction, so you get BOTH cd keys

You just said your installing Classic, then you ask for Classic cd-keys. I'm not following you.

okies okies.. i'm sorry... i hav the cd keys.. but now ... this is the problem... it says "YOU MUST INSTALL DIABLO II BEFORE INSTALLING DIABLO II:LORD OF DESTRUCTION" while i hav already install diablo II..... anyway.. thanx for the help ekh..

Well, it can't hurt to install everything again.

There should be a disc for Cinematics, then an Install Disc, then a Play Disc, which is all for Diablo II (Not Lord of Destruction). The Play Disc should have the Diablo II CD-Key on it, which you must register.

Next, you must install the Diablo II: Expansion Set (Lord of Destruction). This disc should have another Diablo II: Lord of Destruction CD-Key on it, which again, you must register.

Then you should be fine.

You gotta put in the DIABLO 2 Installatin disc,

lol make sure you are putting D2 LOD into the same directory as your d2... that sounds like the problem :) install d2lod into ur d2 folder if that sounds correct *been awhile since i installed srry i cant help more
