Orb sorc plz
 

Ok i'm making an orb sorc now and i think i'm going to max orb cold mastery thunderstorm nova and light mastery and rest on maybe ice bolt 1 tele 1 warmth blah blah..

but i wanna know what are the best items i could get and what stats to put would you want enough str to use ss or would you use a ss? or would you put any dex at all? and they always say everything else in vit what about energy people have told me to leave it base but nova takes alot of mana if i do orb/nova right?

that's the old 1.09 skills point setting you have there which my sorc is, you shouldn't have nova, nova are usless now, i think rest look good. and gears i have no idea.

Gear, perf ice bolt ormus w. perf cold die facet. and u want to cold facet every item u can. Like a 4x p cold facet shield. Nite wing facetted, and the usually sorc shit, all i can think of now.

The best you can get, in my opinion is

Helm: Nightwing's Veil
Armor: Ice Ormus (Ice Orb) or Chains of Honnor
Shield: Lidless Or 4 cold faceted monarch
Weapon: Oculus Or Death's Fathom for Ladder people Or HotO
Rings: Sojs
Belt: Arachnid Mesh
Boots: Waterwalk Or Silkweave
Gloves: Trang Gloves
Amulet: Maras

Charms: 10 Ice Charms and the rest small resis charms

I think snowclash is better for a blizzard sorc.

heaven is rite...sowclash is better for a BLIZZ SORC and why the hell an ICE BOLT ORMUS??? get a 15 cold w/ somethin like tele or energy shield cuz +skills from ITEMS DONT AD TO SYN's! and if u use ORB that will be ur main attack! also i would recommend 3 COLD FACETING a 3os HEAD HUNTERS GLORY. good defense...decent res for 2 things and its got a bunch of other stuff...i highly recommends :)

wait, the Ormus can have Thunderstorm right? Why not just get that? His build is max ice bolt, frozen orb, mastery, lite mastery, and thunderstorm.

If your going Sorc, you pretty much can't go duel(cold/fire, fire/light, light/cold) anymore. And he won't be able to max 5 things, with orb being at bottom of list and thunderstorms prerequisites too.

na, don't need dex for block, you only need enough to wear gear.

I say dex :P

You don't really have that much that you are going to be blocking though. And if this is a ladder char, you prolly won't have 2 sojs so you will need a bigger mana base.

the soj part is true , but block is nececairy , espesialy vs barb and charge pala
