I need a GOOD hammadin guide... I know to max synergies and concentration, and hammer, and the rest go into holy shield; but what about stats and gear??? I need to know what the Tip-Top gear is for a leet hammadin, and i can afford anything from 1 gold- annhilus- eth botd CB...

Its just up to you, guide me; Simba!


( I will be useing him for PvP AND MF, seince it is easier to do pits with him ( I'll have pvp/mf gear in stash/cube))

dex is 150
Life is rest of pts
base mana

Gear would be like

Shako, Exile, Hoto, Tgods, Sojs, Crafted IAS gloves, treadhaunch boots, and perf maras?

You could be almost naked and still kill with a Hammerdin.

All I see they do is town-guard anyway.

STR: Enough for gear with any +STR gear you wear
DEX: Max block with Holy Shield
VIT: Everything else here
ENE: Nothing


Helm: Shako is always nice
Armor: Enigma or CoH if you don't want teleport
Weapon: Wizardspike or Suicide Branch
Shield: HoZ (Eth and Zod'd preferable [UM'd if not eth], UP'd if on ladder)
Gloves: Frosties or any FCR gloves (UP'd, of course)
Belt: Arachnid is good, Verdungo is a good second choice
Boots: Marrowwalk (Good dual stats and bone prison charges) or UP'd Silks
Rings: SoJs
Ammy: Armageddon Slippers (not sure on stats, may not be that great) or perf Mara's.


That's off the top of my head, so others may have some better ideas from experience.

Zealot Guide: (off the top of my head)

Gear:
Armor-Eth Valor/2k stone/Eth Glads Bane/Coh (for casters)
Helm-2os Coa w/ Cham and Ber or 40/15 or wtv u want/ 25ed Gaze
Weapon- Eth Botd Zerker/Eth Razor/Eth Stormlash (great for pvm as well)
Belt- Perf Verdungos would be the best
Rings- Angelic/(for casters 2x bk rings)
Ammy- Angelic/Maras for casters
Gloves- Drac's
Shield- Eth Exile/Eth Zak/SS
Boots- Gore Riders/Eth Sandtrack
Weapon switch- Cta w/ sigon or lidless shield

Skill pnts:
Prerequisits-Sacrafic, Holy Bolt, Blessed Hammer, Smite, Might, Blessed Aim, Concentration.

Fanta-20
Zeal-20
Holy Shield-20
Charge- 20 (if u want for casters or punk ass bitches who get cheap)
(now you got some choices here)
Either put remaining points into sacrafice (synergy of zeal)
" " " " " Defiance (synergy of Holy Shield)
" " " " " Might (synergy of Charge)
Now off the top of my head u can only have 23 points into either or those 3 options if i recall correctly. My Opinion if u r goin to lvl to 99 4 into sacrafice (last) and 20 into Defiance.

Str- Enough for Gear i guess
Dex-Enough 4 Max Block or up to 250 w/ items up to u
Vita-Everything else you got
Energy-(ill give u 3 guesses and the first 2 dont count)

Strategy is pretty ez, if ur a public dueler and cant always just melee vs melee i suggest keepin some anti-Caster and Element Gear in ur chest, Ill tell you right now, vs Melee this build is the best in my opinion and i suggest puttin those 19 points into defiance, no none will ever be able to touch u, w/ my pally i didnt do that cuz i spread those points between sacrafice and charge which gives a good balance but i think i will make a new pally w/ just those points into defiance, i have like 26k or 28k defense w/o those points into defiance and im sure u put those in you'll be fuckin awesome. Or if u just want the 2 hit KO go w/ the sacrafice ull end up w/ godly dmg. But hey its all up to u. And fill ur inventory w/ a few skill gc's like 1-4 and fill the rest w/ 32020s, anni, and maybe a 290 or 5 (its a waste i think w/ open wounds dmg over time will be ALOT, people always ask me how much psn i got, im like a grand total of 200 psn dmg, and they r like oh....(scratchin their head) ill edit it later w/ more exact numbers in str and skill pnts when i get back on d2, Happy Dueling!

I wouldn't have THAT much Dex.

Just enough for gear, and to have 75% block with Holy Shield activated. Beyond that, it mostly seems viable to me.

IDK Voll, i've realized that w/ everyone havin so much defense, you want a godly attack rating but wtv all up to that person

Your attack rating should mostly be covered by the Angelic Gear.

Just remember stats points into dex are stats points that could be put into VIT.

Also, any - target def % is really damaging to players with insane def.

Edit: Also, I've started to buff myself with one of those lvl 23 Enchant charges from Demon Limb. Works wonders!

Hmmmmm i think ill look into that but it will be a bitch to switch to cta then Demon limb...ill try it out once my unusually long Temp IP ban is up.-

I just leave it in the stash, it lasts forever.

dude my holyshock does nearly 6000 so yea....if u want best holyshock max lighting resist salvation and ofcourse holyshock now check how much dmg it does :P.also very ncie 4 rushing newbs and killing them lol.o yea ummm ill give u my acocunt if my dad takes down server like his thrating 2.ill miss bnet but ill emai laccount b4 server goes down deal?u can have my 62 ssoorc and 30 necro.
