Some guy in a hardcore game said that he wasnt afraid to duel anyone, beacuse he had a program that shut the game down when his life went below one, right before he died. Does this program exist?

Isn't that a program called Chicken?... after ur life goes to a certain # or % it exits... the only problem with that is lag i hear... i might be wrong though

Honestly, use reasoning... if you can shut down an entire game server, at the click of a button, why not make yourself invincible(sp)?

It's a bot, same reasoning: to save time. If you use bot don't complain, if you don't "bot's ruin the game..i'm a crybaby because i can't get it to work..boo hoo hoo".

@Arkantis: It basically would be a chicken function. It might detect a "mercy" hit (which usually would reduce one below 0, but the game softens it to where you are at 1 hp) and chicken based on that, but that's highly unreliable.

Yeah, that would be really hard to get working 100%. I never liked chicken modules, a hammerdin could still kill you if you use it. Most of the time when you need a chicken module it's when you die really fast and can't react, but it's not really easy for chicken to react really fast either.

i have seen one i a duell game who leave like 95% times the game if his life were low

I've mostly seen chicken on maphack, you can change the % from what you automatically leave the game from 95-5% or whatever, kinda cheap but if I played hc I wouldn't want to lose my stuff either.

chicken would help in duel games for people but i am guessing that it wont work against 1 hit kills so a good beserk barb could probably kill people.

no,i think if he set chicken half or lower life,so an 2 hit kill could kill too

Usually, a 1-hit kill is usually when the server will make it a "mercy" hit and leave you at 1 HP.

The server will take "Mercy", I dont know somtimes its nice to start over, thats why I like hardcore.
Man I just cant stand death by Iorn maiden, that sucks.
