This mod was made for the use on CLOSED BNET (although it works on single player too), it will change alot of clientside images/animations/text to make Diablo II a little more interesting. This is a mod for those of you who are tired of the old D2-look, pay some attention to the things you usally ignore and you will discover some eastereggs.

Most graphics are from Diablo and Hellfire, some are from Neverwinter Nights. If you've stopped playing D2 this might bring you "Back 2 Diablo" ;D

How to install:
1. Make a backup copy of your "Patch_D2.mpq" located in your Diablo II folder
2. Unzip "B2D_Patch_D2.mpq" into your Diablo II folder
3. Rename "B2D_Patch_D2.mpq" to "Patch_D2.mpq"
4. Start Diablo II

DCC and DC6 files taken from links on Phrozen Keep, thanks to everyone who made those great animations/images. Compiled into one single mpq by StarFish.

Features:
-Replaces 37 basic item graphics (results in about 100 new items)
-Replaces 14 basic monster animations (results in alteast 35 new monsters)
-Replaces 4 skill animations
-Replaces alot of text (IE item names, locations, system messages, monster names)
-Replaces the boring game-loading screen

THIS WILL NOT GET YOU BANNED! IT IS NO HACK AND CAN NOT BE DETECTED!

EDIT: PICKIT+JHJ'S BOT (AND PROBABLY ALL OTHER BOTS) WILL STILL DETECT THE ITEMS ALTHOUG THE NAMES CHANGED, THEREFOR IT WONT AFFECT YOUR BOT IN ANY WAY!

You are positive this will not get banned? I will try it out then.

I will assume you scanned it for trojans, right?

I just downloaded it, scanned it, no trojans/viruses found. I think you can trust that because my Macafee was updated a day or two ago. I will be more than happy to try it out.

i downloaded it and im using it...but there really arent that many changes, most of the time i forget im using it
it works fine, and looks pretty good when you see a difference..id prefer a more complete mod

This won't get you banned, as it is 100% clientside.

My favorite changes so far:

When you get killed by monster it says : (your character name) was buttsecksed by (monster name)

When you get killed by another player it says: (your char name) was pwnd by (player name)

Cracked items changed to Fucked items (example, cracked bow = fucked bow)

1337.

Hmm I wonder if it would change the appearance of diablo, meph or baal O_o

It could but it will only be for you and not other people.

Quick, go find baal, meph or big d, and see what they look like!!. Post a screenie.

I don't have it on this comp, I kinda broke the monitor on my other comp and I have to use this one (at my bro's house) and he uses dial-up (i'm not gonna download 14.0 meg file on dial- up lol)
