Lock down
How many of you have been to school and had to go through lock-down procedures because there was a bomb threat? How many of you have had several threats made against your school?
We have lockdowns but they are just tests, never had an actual one.
i remember in SC, we had a lock-down because a black girl got pissed off and said she was gonna kill all the white people in school. She got arrested too :o
Theyve gone over the prcedure but never have we had a lockdown test.
We've had about 4 actual lockdowns at my highschool. Twice we're drug tests where they brough the police dogs and sniffed all of the cars/lockers.
One time when I was a freshman there was a lockdown because on a box of papers there was some 'white powder' And they thought that it may be anthrax, so they locked all of us down for about 4 hours and had the box sent to tampa to get tested, turns out it was printer dust....fucking inbred idiot hicks. And the third time, somebody had threatened to blow up the school and said the bomb was in one of the lockers, so of course, they searched EVERY FUCKING LOCKER, this took all day and they never found the guy, ha ha haha. |
Actually in the year 2001, right after the WTC bombings, the local high school had three bomb threats made against them. If timmay feels like joining the conversation he can tell you more about them.
They lock you in!!???
Usually if there is a bomb threat we wait outside of the school. I would hope everyone else does too.
Well My school had multiple bomb threats and they treated it somewhat like a fire drill and just got everyone away from the building then a squad searched the school for about 30 minutes while we waited. This was right after 9/11
heh, the people at my school would've been killed in a real bomb-off. We stay inside for the damn thing, but lock the doors and cover the windows. Would suck to be me if there was a bomb or crazy gun-armed men.
We had a bomb threat when I was in middle school. The guy moved to Missouri the day it happened, but some kids said they saw him across the street with handguns.. morons. We also get dogs/police to sniff every locker, but they don't tell us about it. They're just like, "We need you all to go to your homerooms for a ..... a uhh.. fundraiser.. that's it!" -- you can so tell dogs and cops are out there.
Oh, I just remembered why that happened once. Some kids filled coke bottles with alcohol and brought 'em into school and drank them. They found out so they called in dogs to sniff for alcohol. Yeah, my school is stupid. |
Never had a....anything threat at our school.

talks about a plan by 2 high-school students to go through with a second columbine. They were stopped though. |
there was a couple bomb threats on our school. once, in the morning they searched all of our bags. They thought i did it at first and they had to double search me, just cause i had a hair spray can. (it was near holloween, and it was color hairspray, so yeah) Then they let me go, and never found the real kid.
Then, there was this mas shooting, and the guy went by our school, and shot all over the place. And then he shot himself. Yep... |

My senior year of highschool we got locked down for about three hours on a possible gun threat. The school had this system built into the phone network that would sound a silent alarm in the administrative office if a specific code was punched into any phone. All of the faculty knew the code, and were instructed only to use it if a student armed himself with any form of explosive weapon (i.e guns, a pipe bomb).
One day, I'm in drama class and the principal gave the lock-down order and told everybody that it wasn't a test. We were stuck in the band room for three hours while the police searched every square inch of the school. They didn't find anything, and honestly expected the kids to stay in the building and continue the school day after we were released. In all honesty, not finding a weapon in that situation would strike me as being a more caution-worthy situation than actually locating one. So, I (like 90% of the students) decided that cutting the last two hours of school would be the most prudent course of action. |
This homeless eskimo wondered into the hallways of our school and started asking for coffee. I felt sorry for him, they treated him like if he planned on raping all the girls, we were in lock down for like 45 mins, I was in the hall though... but I guess a school is the worst place to ask for such a thing...
