socketing uniques
 

I was bored and reading the arreat sumit and ran across this:
Unique Items can be Socketed using the first quest reward in Act V or a special Horadric Cube Formula. You can place Gems, Jewels or Runes in Unique Items to make them even more valuable. Unique Items can only have one socket, with a few exceptions. You cannot complete a Rune Word using a Unique Item.

I am not aware of any cube recipies for socketing if there is can someone let me know what it is.

...you were already on Arreat Summit, why didn't you just go to the recipe page and find out (that it doesn't exist...)?

I don't know if the recipe work for unique, but the socketing recipe for rare is 3 P.Skulls + 1 Rare + SOJ.

It's the same for uniques, and magics, and normal items I believe.

I thought they patch this already?

Well not really anymore, sojs aint worth chit anymore...I wonder if it would work with an occy soj lol.

Err, I think I was wrong. According to dii.net it works for rares, but they don't say if it works with uniques/sets/etc.

My guess is it wont work, since they said it works for rares.
