Damn, I went out for a split second and I can't call my friends in NYC.. Canada and Ohio and Vermont affected too

This is what they say:
the niagra falls power went out from overloaded power grid
con edison (nyc power supplier) turns off automatically when this happens as a safety

I guess the only people that are affected by this can't even post..

Happened to me last night from the ghey thunderstorm. I only have one thing to say about it:

Because I'm out of the affected area by a little bit..most of bigger towns around me are out.

It happened because it's so hot that everyone was running their AC and bam power grid fried.
