What always makes you tear up?

I don't mean onions, or yawning. I mean something you can watch, read, or listen to that always gets you teary eyed.

For me, it's episode 19 of Naruto. Isn't that ridiculous.

JRwakebord 2005-04-27 06:06 PM

Maybe not always, but recently, a certain song that was "our song" with my recent ex-girlfriend.

Demosthenes 2005-04-27 06:13 PM

Hearing Ashely Simpson sing.

Sovereign 2005-04-27 06:21 PM

I was gunna guess a bucket of KFC being thrown away.

I cry during sex...like a little girl. It freaks out everyone.

JRwakebord 2005-04-27 06:48 PM

Is that because your boyfriend doesn't use enough lube before penetrating your anus?

Kaneda 2005-04-27 06:49 PM

No it's cause of my burning desire for my mother that I never got to fullfill.

JRwakebord 2005-04-27 07:00 PM

You're a real mother fucker, Oedipus.

Acer 2005-04-27 07:28 PM

I cry watching that Movie, it is SOOOO good! Armegedon(sp?) also gets me both time, with the Kids and his Dad and the end with Ben and Bruise. Also lots of other parts

slaynish 2005-04-27 07:47 PM

Listening to my friends being EZD on d2...

Adrenachrome 2005-04-27 08:15 PM

Every time I pay a $1000 fine.

KagomJack 2005-04-27 08:59 PM

Honestly, the song "Thousand Mile Wish" from Electra. But it usually only happens at night (it's a really odd thing no one knows about me, if you actually want to know, just ask about it.)

Thanatos 2005-04-27 09:02 PM

Mantralord 2005-04-27 11:28 PM

Let's see, for me there's episode 19 of Naruto, and the song Apoptygma Berzerk - Untitled Too.

undeadzombieguy 2005-04-28 12:14 AM

Nothing really... Altough the naruto episode with haku dieing and zabuza going crazy and then dieing came close (is that 19?).

Raziel 2005-04-28 01:00 AM

The end of Turner & Hooch. Seriously.

Yes, it is.

The piano version of "Sadness and Sorrow" as well, since it reminds me of ep 19 (and now 131 as well)

sue_13 2005-04-28 06:34 AM

the end of braveheart made me a little teary the first time i watched it

WetWired 2005-04-28 07:20 AM

Hey, it could have been a Zonda or an Enzo...

What always tears me up is the ending to FFX. Just playing FFX-2, I'm close to tears most of the time.

Lenny 2005-04-28 09:45 AM

I never got to the end of FFX...it annoys me (not finishing it that is)...I started FFX-2 not knowing what happened...kinda spoiled it...

----------

In Castaway when Wilson gets washed off the raft and whoever Tom Hanks plays can't get him back...II've only seen the film once though...so don't know if it still does...

Same. Also, The Green Mile.

Kaneda 2005-05-01 02:18 PM

Wow I just remembered how sad that was...
I tried so hard not to cry, lol I cant remember who I was with but it was a bad situation.

Penny_Bags 2005-05-01 03:37 PM

I have one that I can't say because no one would really understand what I am saying... because I don't really understand... and because you have to know a lot about my personal life.

A lot of other things though... I'm a big emotional fag a whole lot. I mean, usually that emotion is rage... but there are lots of movies... one thing that gets me really good is in Garden State when the guy is talking about when he paralyzed his mom because I can sorta parallel part of it to my life (I didn't paralyze my mom but we have a strained relationship).

WetWired 2005-05-01 09:55 PM

I was alone, so I cried my tear ducts dry . . . I was in pain for several days after.

Why is it that we feel so compelled to restrain our expression of sadness in the presence of others anyway?

JRwakebord 2005-05-01 10:06 PM

For guys? Most likely masculinity reasons.

Acer 2005-05-01 10:19 PM

i cry infront of whom ever... i dont give a damn

Lenny 2005-05-02 04:56 AM

I can't figure out whether you and Kaneda are talking about the bit in Castaway, or the end of FFX...or both...

JRwakebord 2005-05-02 06:32 AM

Most likely the end of Castaway. Which definitly made me sad, it was an extremely exmotional and well-acted scene.

WetWired 2005-05-02 06:57 AM

I was refering to FFX, actually, I only sort of read the beginning of the post Kanada was replying to, and not the poster...
