Hah, DC Screw Up!
 

Well, I joined a Hell Baal run, and as we were creeping along in Worldstone Level 2, a huge pack of Fanat Soul Killers, followed by a huge pack of Might Soul Killers came running our way, wiping everyone out, basically instantly.

After a few deaths, one by one, people were leaving. I decided to try and get my body really quick, since I noticed it wasn't completely crawling with those badasses. Well, wouldn't you know it! I grab my body and press Esc + Up Arrow + Enter really fast, but as my screen was darkening to Exit, I saw the infamous "Diablo Walks the Earth" message....

Of course I was the last in the game, and since it was only open for matter of 2-3 minutes max, the game was wiped after I left. Oh well, the DC got away this time, but next time, he won't be so lucky.

Damn, it's probably just blizz trying to make people feel bad so they can go buy another computer and another copy of d2 and wait all day on one computer waiting for DC while playing on the other :(.

what does the dc do?

It is the diablo clone, it drops one of the most valuable charms in the game. the annihilus charm i believe its called.

Is he tough?

HELL YES. What is he at, level 99 or something?, Hes pretty high on teh scale of hard to beat bosses. In fact hes at the top. RIght next to himi would be baal if you ask me.

I hear he has 95 maxed resistances and immune to phys. The way u beat him (easily) is with a necro /w high lower resist and a few sorcs to kick his ass. may need some tanks to distract him. I play hardcore so it is best to go with all this shit.

best way is to get him at shenk or bloodraven I believe and then kill them so that dc dies with them?

I havent seen the diablo clone yet, because I only play ladder and my pala has just this weekend reached lvl 80 (took me 3 weeks lol) I just dont play alot anymore, this game is sorta like tetris for me now...only play when got really nothing to do.

Yeah skank is the easiest, cuz you can just run down. You have to actually look for blood raven. Then just skill skank and everything dies, i'm not sure if it works though, just a rumor.

That would be major cheesy if it did....

Huh everyone say that DC appears without any rules.....but how do you hunt for him? :)

I haven't heard yet of a sure way to find him - you just have to get lucky and be playing when BNET craps him out.
He is not that hard to kill if you max out your resistances. Dwarf Star rings and rising sun ammy help alot - fire absorb bonuses from them help. My Paly whooped his ass pretty easy - just takes time - he has a shitload of Hitpoints. if your resistances are low you will probably not be able to kill him by yourself

for dc info, he is like lvl 110, 95 all resists, his fire hose does half physical and half elemental dmg and he cant do like other new spells and shit, they say on arreat summit is is wise to have a lot of fire and light asorb and physical dmg reduction, im guessing he is freakin insane to kill
