Honestly, I don't think there is anything wrong with taking this place seriously. If I enjoy coming here and shooting the shit with strangers, so be it. At first I thought of this place as a Diablo place for botting information, then I found the Flame Forum. It intrigued me, trying to out wit others verbally on the internet.

Of course, that led to ALL the off-topic Forums until finally, vuala, I now come here whenever I'm free and at my computer to post and read others thoughts. Sometimes there are some really interesting posts and threads to read, and if that gives someone satisfaction, amen.

What are your thoughts? Are you addicted? Can you just get up, walk away from your computer and never look at and participate at Zelaron ever again? I don't think I could, not dry turkey at least... I enjoy it too much still. I'm sure that I could, but it would take a lot of annoyance on everyone here's part, and an extremely busy lifestyle on my part, one that entailed countless all-nighters of work, and no time for myself.

Acctually before I got banned and realized I could live a day without getting on zelaron, I couldn't get off of it for like 5-6 hours just refreshin and refreshin and refreshin and refreshin and refreshin and refreshin and refreshin and refreshin and refreshin and refreshin and refreshin and refreshin and refreshin and refreshin and refreshin and refreshin until it was either tyme for food or batthroom :D

I would like this place to grow, but more and more it seems the owners/controllers of the site are taking less and less interest in it...

I know. I barely see the admins make more than a post or two a day anymore.

Its not bad. I like being here and talking to other people. Its cool.

It's true, the admins don't spend too much time at zelaron, except chruser, but he doesnt really do anything here.

Yeah, and I guess thats the problem... Xenn, I actually wish you would post some more opinions, it would liven up the place a little...

I'm pretty much addicted, but I wouldn't call it that... I just like posting here when I'm bored. Zelaron = meh pwn3r... :(

I like this site, I find it interesting to hear opinions from people with different perspectives, and even different nationalities. So, most every day I come on it, by my own will, because I find it interesting. But say, if I am out camping, I can live without it. But if I am at home, why not surf Zel?

It seems to me that after someone gets supermod+ they start to spend less time on zelaron.

Oh, don't worry, I still spend time o' plenty on Zelaron.

That can sum up the whole point of this thread.

When more than half of the active threads are nothing but extremely simple minded posts, and negative remarks?

It makes talking to people, and having a conversation nearly impossible which makes me and alot of people talk on AiM instead of posting.

They're all busy playing Lineage II Beta.

like many other ppl here at zelaron I joined it because of d2
it took me about 6 months to take the time to see what the other forums where like :( , i wish i did this much sooner because I like them. Now I check them almost every day. If there was a really, really good reason to stop visiting zelaron, it would be not much of a problem
but just stop visiting without a reason, no way :D

I don't think its the leaving zelaron that would be that big of a deal, its probably losing some friends too.

Sure its fun, but like anything else that can be "addicting" you need to limit your exposure and use common sense. I am spending less time online lately for one simple reason: SUMMER Time to golf, play softball, ride my mountain bike, go to the beach, browsing Zel is something to do when I am bored at work, or its fucking pouring rain and I have no piece of snatch handy. This is a nice little community and I, like Titus originally came for D2 info. Now I hardly even check that forum anymore, I enjoy seeing peoples opinions on movies and music and just plain bullshitting with people anonomously.
I agree however that the stupidity factor is getting rather annoying lately...I hate browsing unread posts and finding that 90% of them are completely moronic rambling. (even though I`ve done a few, usually late at night while drinking a few beers)

I'm sorry titus. But I do think you're a little out of line. I mean there's spam everywhere else here and in other threads, so leave me alone.
