View Full Version : Find my CD-Key..

Ok, I wanna know how to find the installed CD-Key that I am using currently.. I don't wanna look at the CD (i have mine, its for a friend) I tried looking thru the registry for it (localmachine->software->blizzardentertainment) but I couldn't seem to find the key anywhere. Anyone know where I should look?

does this program show u both d2 and exp cd keys or only 1?????

The CD_key are not on the reg.
They are encrypted in MPQ files in D2 folder
Once again, here they are :
data\global\sfx\cursor\curindx.wav - User Name (d2sfx.mpq)
data\global\sfx\cursor\wavindx.wav - Regular key (d2sfx.mpq)
data\global\chars\am\cof\amblxbow.cof - Expansion key (d2char.mpq).

Use Onlyer's tools if you want to change them.
