Why do you hate paraphrasing?

The Bible isn't meant to be read. I firmly believe they made it so long and boring just so that the masses wouldn't read it, but would instead take the word of a priest or preacher's impressions of the Bible. It's easy for a preacher to say "because the Bible says so!" when the people he is preaching to haven't read the Bible.

I know the Bible better than probably 90% of Christians, and that alone should be evidence enough for my case.

"Let's wait three days and see what happens."

Best. Response. Ever. :haha:

Personally, when I read parts of the Bible, I tend to get a different idea, than what most priests and pastors say. I want to open my own church, just so I can try and actually give people a REAL idea on what it's talking about.

The Bible is incredibly ambiguous and often conflicts with itself.

Many people say that, but when they give me examples, I am able to easily understand what (I believe) The Bible means, which tends to come out as "You misunderstood this part, so it looked like it contradicted itself."

Somehow I doubt this. I'd like to see your list of corrections, otherwise you are admitting that you are lying and that the Bible has irreconcilable contradictions.

Leave it to all of you to not be funny in your replies. I am disappoint.

But K_A, I just said I corrected it. If I said I did, but I didn't, reality would be incorrect.

Reality wouldn't be incorrect, you would be incorrect. Logic fail.

But I'm real, thus reality would be historically incorrect.
