Good job, DeLong. -MAJ Makay
This guy never ever ever gives compliments so that actually was suprising to hear from him.

"...Damn... my Boy's vice-president...? Heh... damn...." - my father. Just his aknowledgement was a compliment to me.

I don't like compliments, they make me uncomfortable. The backhanded variety, however, are great. My favorite was either "You actually look pretty when you wear make-up" or "You're pleasant for a redhead." Elderly women are the meanest people alive. Fortunately, there is comfort in knowing their situation is likely to change sooner rather than later.

"Is that a new tie?"
"Why, yes, it is."
"It's very nice, the red really brings out your eyes."
"Are you coming onto me...?"
"Are you gonna let me?"

Needless to say, I do like my tie.

I used to get told all the time that I looked like Justin Timberlake. At first I was like GTFO but meh, there are much worse people out there to be compared to.

I donno.. I've been complimented a lot. I can't really say there's one that stands out. IMO, I think a compliment about intelligence and wit strikes a bigger accord than personal appearance.

I'd have to say when I was called 'papi' while having sex with my exLatina bitch was the best thing ever. I know it's not even a compliment, but it's the best thing to ever hear as a guy.

Lately with my position change at work (I was originally going to become a Service Coordinator, but now my title is going to be "Cashier/Service Desk Trainer" until another one of the SC's get promoted into management and then I'll take their position), I've been receiving a lot of compliments from managers. Stuff like "You're patient, you're friendly, you're organized, you're a great person."

Outside of that, some guy I was helping behind the desk told me I was very pretty before he left.

    Days without talking,
 partly because no-one cares;
  just then, someone asked:
    "Oh, still around?"
   ... to be noticed ...

A speech teacher of mine at the college told me that I was going places with my public speaking talent.

The best compliment I got was an unspoken one... and it happened a few times...

I'll be doing something, and turn around and notice a chick smelling me... o_O Although, it is also rather creepy...

Hmm. A couple of months ago.
I was waiting for my train to arrive, when I realised that a man stared at me. Since I suffer from paranoia I thought it was imagination, but then he walked in my direction and said:
"You are the most beautiful woman I have seen here, in my twenty years in Sweden. I wish you success and a pleasant life".. and walked away.

Hmmm. Mine would probably be a citation of excellence my alma mater framed and gave to me for my contributions to the college. It's surprisingly long and detailed.
