Any delusional denial ridden fantasizes you would like to share? Or perhaps an uniformed, capitalist media fed opinion?
Perhaps you didn't know oil would run out and would like to start there. Either way I'd like to hear what the zelarites think.

I would imagine more money would be used into researching and developing a more efficient, renewable energy source. Actually, it is happening now, for the sole reason that we aren't hit with a devistation of no energy source.

Or we try to simply create more of it, even though the former would lead to a more environment healthy world.

There will always be oil. There are processes that can convert household waste into crude oil. They're just so expensive as to not go anywhere. When oil prices go back up again, I bet they'll be making bank from collectors and motorheads willing to pay the price. As far as the rest of us, I'm sure we'll be driving cars powered by algae.
