View Full Version : Anybody else sick?
It seems like i've had the flu, or some sort of strain similar to the flu for the past two weeks or so, and everyone else around me has it as well. School, work, home, buddies. It doesn't matter who, it's so lame.
On top of being sick, no medicine I have taken thus far has even put an impact on this devious little sickness.
Bllaaaahhhhhh.

I have a cold. I've had two colds prior to this one in the past five years. Other than that, I haven't been ill. I haven't used any medications either.

I had a real minor cold yesterday, causing me to be oddly exhausted for the later part of the day. I played video games most of the day because I could not whip up the energy to do homework.

I would say that it is a sinus infection, but i've had a cough, and a bunch of goobers floating around my body along with my illness, and my cough. Erg. Also, my lymphies aren't swollen as far as I can tell from feeling them, which is a plus.

you had what i had and it sucks esp when one of you meds didnt work roght you mostly need an antibiodic if you do have a docter go to him dev its needed my sinus infection setted in my lungs and it sucked and im still feeling it
Thanks bud, at this point i'm still going to just try and ride it out. I'm not a big fan of medicine as I feel our bodies antibodies are good enough about 99% of the time to cure most illnesses; however, if it keeps up for another week or so I'll venture down that route.
Not sure if I'm sick, but I've got a case of the blahs.

I just got over a cold, but I think this girl I've been hanging out with gave me hers. I've felt like shit all day. It's probably that time of year.

Am I the only one here who isn't getting sick. I am fine and Have been and will be. But in February I will most likely get pneumonia.

I was sick last week, but that's only because I was menstruating. I always get a cold or something before or during my period.
I'm sick with a cold.. got it from my pseudo-roommate I think. It annoys me cause in college I've only been getting sick once every 10 school weeks or so (so around 3 times a year). High school was like, 7 or 8 colds per academic year.
Well my fever is completey gone, but my coughs are back, yet again. BLARGH!

That is just so delightful to hear! Thank you for sharing this information.
And yes I'm sick. My throat is killing me. Fuck illnesses.
This probably sounds stupid, but I'm too busy to get sick.

Yes, several times this early winter. I think I am allergic. My skin is ichy and extremely dry and I feel ill all the time. It bothers me that I have to take my medication every day.

A little sniffle and a cough isn't so bad. It's never too severe.

Dangit, I just caught another cold
Heh, I stayed home from work today. Took some Mucinex (sp?) this morning, and can't really tell or not if the effects are positive or not as I still have a couch. Ugh.

Last I knew Mucinex only helped to break up mucus, not to actually prevent coughing.
Why do you cough? That's right! Because you have mucus in your system and the involuntary reflex is to cough to get it out.

Not always.
I still love you jess. But in my case, it feels like there is something in my throat so I try and cough harder and don't even try to stop it always. It's a bitch.

Well, if it's any consolation, I've had the sensation that there's a wad of mucus in a spot I can't cough up between my throat and nose for a few days and it's becoming increasingly bothersome.
And I love you too, Dev.
That's my exact situation. Eckk. I wish I had a DS with some Chrono Trigger so that taking off work would be a little easier.
