Hmmm nutter..... I also heard of people calling their kid's after D&D characters, and recently an Australian guy wanted 200,000 people to join his FaceBook and he said he would call his soon to be born kid "Spider Pig" so it doesn't suprise me.
What I do find really funny is that this guy is actually having a serious conversation about this!!! Like he is just asking whether John is a better name than Peter...... Nutter.

Christ. If he's actually dead set on doing it, he should at least pick a near-normal name to prevent the child from hating him. I pity any child named Grim. I say either Leeroy, Nathanos, or Morgan.

I dunno, Kula Tiras has a nice ring to it. Just wait until the kid asks his parents how they came up with his name. He'll disown them.

For all we know the kid could end up playing and change his name to some other WoW inspired name in the future.

I would find that to be hilarious, but a good possibility. Who knows, his father must have enough figurines and posters that he might be drawn to it!

I see what you mean about Morgan or Nathanos but this guy "really likes" Al'Aqir Thunderaan it is good because they can call him Al.
I think the most likely thing is that the kid will spend the first 15 years of it's life being tormented for having a stupid name and then go and change his name in later life to John Smith to be more Normal

OR...he could totally embrace the name of Thrall. And act upon it.

I think the last name is a better spot for fantasy names. First of all, it isn't used as frequently. Second, there are already lots of people with strange last names; would a last name like Trollbane or Menethil stick out that much?

Trollbane does.

I know someone with a last name of "Bane." Why is "Trollbane" that far fetched?

Im going to go ahead and guess the
Troll
part.
+ in all actuallity i think once the kids name starts to make way, it will eventually get to the adults who know what it is - and they will pass it on to their kids (who by some miricle arent also playing WoW) and let them know what they played the pansy alliance for wsg.
Naming your child after WoW is completely and utterly retarded - to name your child something stupid like Radioscience (i think i heard <3 thanatos). Is like y2k child abuse. Pick a unique name - not one that has been used in every fantasy game in the world.

Or one could actually attempt to be creative and make up their own name.
Me? I'll probably end up naming my daughter Saphira. No, I'm not creative.

Jessifer, we all know your first kid is going to be named after your husband... who's name starts with a "K" and ends with "ZILLA"
Give up? KagomJackzilla!
