I believe that a large mass banning occurred. My account has been deleted, and none of my friends that used maphack are online anymore. Oh well, it was fun for awhile. Cheers!

False Alarm. I got booted, couldn't log on, and then tried getting onto west. Lolz.

Yes you can, but you won't get any good grades doing so.

Hahahaha are you kidding me? I was stoned/drunk throughout high school and I got a 3.7 cumulative GPA. I can safely say I bullshitted my through there AND got a 29 on the ACT.

Asamin, high school is so fucking easy, especially public school. There is no way in hell that high school could ever kick your ass. Now, my second semester, that will definitely kick me ass. Taking two 300 level classes, three 400 levels, and one 100 level. Any comparisons? I'm sure you're getting your ass handed to you, K_A. It sucks but it's better to do it than not go to college.

you dont need grades in highschool... lol. So many children think zomg i must get scholarship - i want to go to college. Well ima let you know most of the scholarships given away @ my school were like $500.00. Grats you bought yourself a textbook or two. Not only that but you busted your ass studying night after night, ignoring the world that you once new as azorath. Where as i, got my work done in 1/4th of the time it took you - leveld 4 70 characters. And in 5 months i will be getting 100% tuition paid. lifes good

I work 40 hours a week and I'm going to school 1 credit hour shy of full time. I'm not even into the hard part of college, yet.

Kazilla

that is 2 much, unless you have created yourself a deadline that is urgent i wouldnt recommend doing full time work and school. School you can take your time - my parents always told me to work a full time job and go to school @ night. Instead of 4 years, take 6. couple more years to setup the rest of your life isnt that big'adeal.

Your stress levels have to be off the charts.

How the fuck do you do that?

It's not easy.

I'm majoring in Chemical Engineering, which has a lot of classes that have a lot of pre-reqs. If I don't take as much as I can, every class I miss means an extra semester later. I figure that, at least while it isn't incredibly hard, I'll take as much as I can. A lot of what I'm taking is online classes when I can get them, and I'm only going to community college right now. Once I go to University, there will hardly be any online classes, and most of my classes will only be offered in either the spring or the fall, meaning I won't be able to take any summer classes.

I wouldn't be doing it if I couldn't handle it. I got straight A's this past semester, and I was doing 9 credit hours then (in the summer, which is harder because it's shorter.) I'm doing 11 credit hours this semester, but it will probably be easier than last semester.

I think somehow I convince myself that it isn't as hard as it is, because it doesn't seem like I never get a break. Who knows? Community college is kinda easy. University will probably kick my ass.

I have a mother that will kick my ass if I don't get A's and she just makes it all harder by not shutting up long enough for me to finish my HW and then my step father just tells me to do one thing and then I have two adults yelling at me to do two different things at one time. It makes High school a bit harder.

Anyone complaining about high school simply needs to die in a fire. If you think high school is hard, don't even think about going to college.

The hardest thing about highschool was trying to fit in, for me anyway. You've got all your little clicks and somehow you find yourself not accepted in any. Rich kids were the worst to deal with. Some girls in my chemistry class would pull out platinum credit cards, and explain how they get anything they have ever wanted. I didn't even own a cellphone until i was a junior, and I was required to pay for it if i wanted it.

Highschool is all about finding yourself, If you found yourself then get down to the nearest college and apply quickly. If you haven't found yourself then you will find yourself doing what I am now doing. Military...

Yes, but you've grown and matured as a person. It's all relative to your professor and subject. Mostly professor. A professor can make any subject rocket science if he wishes. It's literally the difference between an A and a B or C. I got a shitty one and it fucked up my 4.0, I got a 3.8 instead.

QFT.

My semester should be pretty easy. It's just classes to get through my liberal arts core, 18 credits total. Next semester is going to kick my ass. Prolly gonna have four 300 level business classes along with whatever other hard ones I'll be taking.

I agree somewhat. It's true that having a good professor or a bad professor can make a world of difference.

However, I would never go as far as to blame a bad grade on a bad professor. If I get a bad grade, it's nobody's fault but my own. I had an absolutely shitty Chemistry professor last semester, and I came out of it with a 100% average in the class and a perfect score on the final.

I never said it was hard. Just so much goes on at one time and it makes it hard to concentrate. Also, the kids in my school are ass holes so that does not help either. If I could just take the teacher and me and take the same lessons it would be so much more of a breeze without dumb questions.

In short, my school seems to dumb for me and I tend to make it harder by not doing stuff due to the fact that I don't see the reason in doing it.
