what do you think if your dad gave you a computer and you get in trubble just for eating on it and that the person i get in trubble with eat on the computer all the time but i barely do so went i do i get in trubble

My parents used to have the same rule. They just don't think you're responsible enough to not spill anything onto the keyboard or mouse. Their main concern is that you might make a mess.

my computer desk is littered with warm flat soda and 1/2 dozen bowls of dried caked on ceral - the milk has already evaporated

Did you purchase the computer with your money? Even if you did, you're still in their house. Their house, their rules. It's only fair.

And jamer, if I remember correctly, you're not exactly old enough to have money to pay for any repairs to your computer, so it's only fair that your father lay down some rules. He paid for it, not you.

it barely a 5 gb computer run beter than the one i have now but the one i have now is 15 gb and i need it
