Would you pay for a service that rushes you? What about general help, like Anya or something? How much would you pay?

What services would you pay for?

I'm working on a clientless botting system with Lecht, and we're trying to think of systems people might like to see us write. Also let us know if you think it's stupid to charge anything for anything to do with D2, any input is appreciated.

Thanks :)

I like the first response in that thread.. "I think it's pointless to charge for rushing".

I like the first response in that thread.. "I think it's pointless to charge for rushing".That's funny, because he (notoriously) pays for items and such.

Great to see you're back, Insolence... I was just asking K_A about you a couple days ago.

I personally help and rush for free.

To be honest, I don't see the point in paying for a rush, or items, With cash. There are many people, like -Spector- who will rush for free, or only ask for your hellforge.

Alright, what about a general "helper" or something like that? Are there any services you'd pay for, aside from botting?

Botting could get me banned. I suppose if there could be people in the game to increase the drop rating I might pay a couple bucks for it.

I don't think he's going to be able to write a program that affects the drop ratings that are server side.

Nah, not that way, Like have a room where there is always Seven people in it, who are just there to be there, and when you join that makes eight, thus, the drop rate increases.

.... I'm not sure how he'd program a program to make players sit in a game on bnet..

In single player you can just type /players 8

True, But that would really be the only thing I would dish out a couple bucks for, is a room..Hell..It could even be bots who just stand there and run out the camp.

That just-so-happens to be one of the things I'm writing -- group botting. You could join baal bot games and just do whatever MFing you wanted to do in there, the games might not last as long as you'd like, though.

That's a pretty nifty idea :)

You'll need lots of Cd-Keys!

Hopefully not. I've got at least 1 trick up my sleeve, we'll see about that, though.

What would you do? There is no way to get on Bnet without a CD key.

He's just trying to promote illegal activity through the Diablo game.

Several years ago when I was running an auto-it bot on d2, I came home to find 2 screens open, one with the bot running, the other sitting at the character screen. I had only 1 CD key, but I was somehow logged on twice... I wish I would of been smarter then, I would of pulled off some sort of dupe.

There was a way that you could do it, but not with that method. When you tried it with that method it would just log one off without duplicating anything.

Well, you can connect with one key and multiple bots, as long as you don't join the same game with the same key.

I don't know how much cybering I can facilitate, sorry HoH.
