I'm doing duo-necro with Nikki right now, it's pretty leet. Some places suck, like the maggot lair, but anywhere that's open is ownage.

The thing I like most about it is it doesn't take much input to kill stuff. We just keep as many skellies up as we can, and I curse anything that's really hard. The skellies just go out and own everything in our path.

I'm not too fond of Necro's, but that is just me. Look out for the flayer jungle in hell, it's a bitch with all those little guys running around. I think I'm going to go level up my soon-to-be-non-ladder paladin now.

The most successful 2 man act 1 norm->act 5 hell combo we've had so far is barb/sorc, but duo necro is working really well. Skellies are good up until hell as a solo necro, I do know that much. With 2 necros, one going summon/poison and one going summon/bone, we'll have all of our bases covered for the most part.

Are there any effective characters in hell besides hammerdins or at least any characters that you dont have to have INSANE gear just to kill something in hell. I haven't played in a while but my last 2 main guys were hammerdins.

Pretty much any character can be effective in hell, it just takes a lot longer to kill things. I don't see any reason why any characters WOULDN'T be able to beat the game in hell by themself.

Immunities can make things take forever. Also I've found out my elemntal druid is garbage damage wise. So I think I might make another sorc.

Immunities can usually be worked around, unless you're incredibly unlucky, but they are a pretty big issue in hell.

I wasn't bad, I imagine, you'd do better to ask Sov or someone I played with often. I certainly had a lot of gear to upgrade, as I could only maintain 1 fairly twinked out character at a time.

I never played with Endurack, as I detest people with overinflated egos. I did play against blckshdwdrgn a few times, he was pretty damn good.

I was thinking either fire sorc/poison necro/ hammerdin but im not sure yet. I'd like a sorc just so I could tele and save up for aenigma for a hammerdin later or something but hammerdin survivability is so much better than a damn sorc...

I gather that Warden will detect you fairly easily using any form of bot thus far, as I remember Warden being what Blizzard introduced with WoW for Clientside monitoring of the game.

I've read that it works with D2 now too, but that could just be hearsay. I only saw it on a forum from a non-Mod.

They probably keep WoW's warden way more up to date, though. All it does is searches open processes and injected shit for pre-determined file names/window names/process names to put it in simplest terms. They update a file on the servers which has a list of shit for Warden to look for, and if it finds any, you're banned.

Also, botting on WoW is much riskier, as you lose your account and you can't just make another one like in Diablo 2. You have to actually buy a new account, and you lose any play time you currently have bought. It's not really worth it in WoW.

That's one thing about them I wouldn't change, though. I see no problem in making a game/whatever take as long as needed, regardless of deadlines, for it to be a good quality game.

Yeah, I think they mentioned a new anti-botting measure with the inclusion of 1.10 that got tons of people banned, sounds about right.

That was a long time ago, lol.

Also, WoW does have a number of bots, but Blizzard is pretty proactive about them in comparison to D2. They do a similar amount of in-game economical damage, but WoW's economy seems to be held in much higher concern.

wow ladder finally resetted. i havent been on in so long. if ladder had resetted alot earlier i'd give d2 one more go. blizzard occasionally do mass bans and sometimes ban every 1-2 weeks. i lost 2 of my cdkeys and 3 accounts ;_;

Yeah Idk much about WoW but I'd assume if caught doing anything illegal on WoW is like an instant ban, on Diablo they usually let everyone do it for a month or more and then poof, ur account just got owned.

If your starting out fresh I would suggest a hybrid zon (multi shot for masses, shield and jav for bosses), a V/t would be good too, smite pwns all bosses with decent gear. Sorcs could never complete the game by themselves by the way.

I think me and my buddy, when I get the game (im in london till aug 11), will begin our quest for riches and dueling ownage, will make some sorcs for mmbot. I don't think warden can detect it since its (i forget the term) the type of bot that takes over ur mouse and does specific location clicks you know, just gotta make sure to minize r/d's. Man I can't wait to get on D2, I've been scheming new builds for a few weeks now (hybrid zon, psn dagger necro, v/t, orv sorc, Ww/wof asn)

I just beat Hell Baal on my friend's single player blizzard sorc. Only problem he and I had was Lord De Seis.

It's definately doable. Just gotta have a good merc.

Getting through norm/nightmare on a character is easy. Once you get to hell, the real challenge begins. You can't just fly through it like you do in norm/nightmare, you have to stop every once in a while to just level up, gear up, level your merc, etc. I can't think of any character that absolutely could NOT beat the game in hell solo. Some are easier than others, and sorcs are one of the easiest by far. I would wager, assassins, druids, and paladins would probably be the 3 hardest characters, but that's assuming you don't have the leetest gear that you transfered over from another character.

Yeah, it's a lot easier to control how many monsters you're taking when you're ranged. Melee is pretty annoying to get through hell, though barbarians aren't all that bad.

Hammers ftw, I rush people through hell switching off between my fire sorc and hammerdin and its actually pretty quick... If I ever scratch up a nigma I will do it all on my pally.

I can guarantee you that a sorc can beat hell on its own. I've done it, and that was without any gear or outside help at all.

He might get lucky and just keep restarting the game till they are all non immune to him. No merc without proper gear is going to take out the ancients unless you wait half an hour and keep potting him.
