So, I message this person "khydadriamen" on AIM, telling them to come post on Zelaron(as I often do to random people on AIM that I don't know.)

They talk for a bit and I asked them who they were here at Zelaron and they reply "Dubby."

I searched google for "khydadriamen" and got hits here for the username "Tai." So I asked them if they used to be Tai, and they said they hadn't used that name in a long time.

So I'm thinking, alright, they used to be Tai, came back as Dubby after being gone for a long time, and that was that.

My question is, why does Tai's account say "Male" and Dubby's account say "Female." WTF?

Slow down, this is bizarre.

Khydadriamen is on my AIM buddy list.

VERY VERY few Zelaron members were on my AIM buddy list.

KA, GS, Slim, MJ, Sovereign, Chruser, Raziel... and thats about it... and I never really talked to any of you much on AIM except GS a few times and MJ, Sov, and Slim a bit back in the day. I also remember Vollstrecker and Shinto were on my buddy list from the D2 days.

Why the HELL would that Khy person be on my buddy list?

I don't think this person is Dubby or Tai, I think its someone who was a frequent poster.

It's definitely Tai. I knew this guy before he joined this forum and he is just an artist and probably didn't have a sex change. His artistic talents landed him the art forum mode position because there are few artists around here besides Chruser. I actually maybe have been responsible somehow for his coming here but I can't quite recall.

Back when I was into the Zelaron paint threads and the art forums here, I might have buddy listed that person... or perhaps put the person on my buddy list through Chrusers AIM profile... who knows. It would just be really wierd... I think I might have even been talking to Tai back in the day... maybe I even suggested Tai become a moderator of the art forums? It's all coming back to me...

Didn't Tai do some really beautiful art and Chruser started getting involved?

I just had a vision.. Maybe Tai was always a girl and they have been dating(would make sense, considering their attraction to art), and she wanted to be a Mod and was like "no sex until you mod me".

Chruser was worried there would be some sort of upset about him making her a mod right off the bat, just because they're dating, so he helped her draw some pictures and then that gave us an excuse. Well, even chruser knew that nobody would believe a chick could draw such sweet ass pictures, so he changed the "Gender" thing to male, when she wasn't looking.
