Neither did Nikki. I didn't know they gave you drugs for getting wisdom teeth pulled.

That's because robots don't feel pain.

I got a bottle of Hydrocodone which is a knockoff of Vicodin after mine were removed.

They gave me laughing gas during the operation but it didn't work or something because I was very aware of what was going on. It hurt like a bitch.

So it wasnt as bad as i thought. They knocked me out via IV. I remember him saying that the drug was injected. Then I started feeling giddy then I'm drawing a blank. I wake up 45 minutes later as if I had a great nap. My jaw was apparently powerpumped with novacain because I can't feel any part of my lower jaw. So far there is only a slight bt of pain, but its slowly been gettin ga little stronger.

All 4 came out at once and I got to keep them! Hope the tooth fairy remembers where I live.

Yeah, you just can't numb that shit easily. I recently had to get work done on my bottom molars and they had to stick me 3 different times before it numbed up. Fortunately for me, they knocked me out when they did my wisdom teeth.

They should give you a gas or liquid that will put you to sleep so you don't feel the pain. They don't work on me. saddly.

I don't see what's wrong with the ancient blow to the head technique... or the more modern excess of Whisky.

I just let my wisdom teeth grow in sideways. I couldn't talk or chew without pain for about a week.

Don't some people throw up when they wake up from being knocked out?

Probably, but the sedative only lasted maybe 30-45 minutes. Maybe with the stronger ones?

I've been testing blending certain foods to near mush so that I can eat them (I'm growing tired of jello and yogurt). Got my dad to gag!

28 mins till I can take my narcotics

Most people throw up after having their wisdom teeth removed because they swallowed blood during the procedure. Never heard of someone throwing up because of being knocked out though.

I need to get mine removed.

Also: milk and cereal mixed to mush is really good.

It's fairly common after surgeries where you are asleep for many hours.

my friend just got his teeth pulled (wisdom) and they put him on some painkiller. But the thing is, he didnt react nearly as well as they had hoped and was just spacing out. I mean. you ask him how he was doing and he would reply with something like "oh im fine but why am i flying?" Shit was funny

Hmm. I've had Vicodin for a tooth that needed a root canal; it made me feel off-balance and cloudy, but it also was quite effective on the pain.

Aww, that must suck. I still have all mine...but now that I've had a baby I'm not as afraid of "surgery"...still though, at least after you have a baby you have something to keep your mind off the pain :)

I did. I woke up all cottonmouthed and asked for a drink. They brougt me ice chips. That did nothing to satisfy my thirst so I asked for something else. They brought my apple juice which went down and stayed down for approx. 2 mins.
