What would you do differently if you could start your life over and still retain all the knowledge up to this point in your life?

A lot of things.

Just a few major stuff here and there. I'm not really that bad off. Don't think I need to rewrite my life.

I wouldn't commit the only thing that I regret in my entire life. That, for one.

I'd also have played highschool sports. I definitely could have been on the basketball team but I decided weed was way too important for that. Probably could have been a WR on the football team, too.

A few minor things.

Do Maths at A-Level, for one.

Break up with abusive boyfriend before it started. And not gotten alcohol poisoning. Thats about it.

You can do both. I played varsity soccer and started, didn't really do much to my fitness. Then again I only smoked once a couple of days.

Hmm, honestly, quite a few things. Not so much because it needs changing, as because I'm one of those people who plays RPGs without missing a single thing that is a 'lost-forever' and such. So I would meticulously fix any little mistakes I could remember, like fucking up a test.

I would probably buy some google when it started, too.

Investing in Google would have been the best thing one could do if they knew it was going to take off.

You've got the fewest posts with the biggest longevity bar I've ever seen.

I wouldn't trade my life for anything. That being said, there's the little bits and pieces. Starting hockey earlier, learning piano and/or guitar, sticking with some other things. Little things.

A lot of things.

Yea, theres so much I'd want to change...

I probably wouldn't have slacked off on my schoolwork as much as I did. I would have learned to play the piano, too...

But honestly, I'm quite happy with how it's all turned out in the end.

When we go back in time we can do weight watchers together.

I would save up every penny I had and go in the army again and save up all the money from iraq, then I would get out and move to Amsterdam and find a job there and live out my life there. That place is amazing.

I would abort myself in my mother's womb.

No... I would get on better terms with the people in my life.

You'll need to at least learn their language.

You can still do that...

A few minor things.

Do Maths at A-Level, for one.

Me, being the mad person I am, had my first A-Level Maths lesson today. I dropped Biology and took up Maths instead. :)

Means I have to switch forms, but that's alright, Jenny's in my new form. :D

"Maths"? I thought that "Look Around You" episode was just making fun of Math when they called it "Maths"...

Not really. One thing about major european cities is that almost everyone speaks english. When I went to Amsterdam 3 weeks ago, I can't remember running into someone who didn't speak English. Same thing with Berlin 2 weeks ago and Frankfurt last week.

Lenny
2006-12-07, 09:48 AM
That's because they get so many English-speaking tourists. It's easier for them to learn English than for the English to learn foreign-speak.

Either that or they learn English just so they can laugh at us when you go up to them and say really slowly and loudly "HOW MUCH IS THIS BREAD? YOU KNOW, MON-EY."

-----

And yes, it's called Maths - it's an abbreviation of Mathematics.

Thanatos

There is no 's' - it's just Math.

Jessifer

Maths makes more sense, though.

KagomJack
2006-12-07, 01:03 PM
Which is why you say "Mathematics".

Lenny
2006-12-07, 02:11 PM
"Math" is American. "Maths" is the proper, English way of saying it.

And "Maths" does make more sense - it's not just one thing you do in the subject, but many.

slaynish
2006-12-10, 08:16 PM
yeah i know but if i tried to start playing baseball id just humiliate myself, i dont even understand the game.

i'll be 15 in march... i figure, i couldnt start baseball now because i wouldnt even make the freshman team. what im saying is i wish i could go back and play baseball as a young kid and up thru now. then i'd be good.

Most of the really bad things in my life I wouldn't be able to change if I were to go back, as I would be too young.

How can a 4 year old stop his father from blowing it all?

How can a 4 year old stop his father from blowing it all?

Blowing it all? Does that mean blowing all his cash or ending his life?

Atnas

Cash.
