How do you get started.. or how do you get rich on d2? where do you mf? and i'm sick of rushing people for forge and then they either take the rune or leave the game when we get to act 4.. just a waste of my time.. and botting doesn't seem to work anymore.. but i never really got much good out of that anyway.. sept the natures peace rings on ladder.. then when they came to nl i traded them for 1 rune each.. so.. where do you guys mf.. and with how much mf.. or.. ionno what i'm saying.. :grin:

Well before I started up my givemedrugs acct i just leeched off of friends. One of them quit and I traded his shit for a nigma/botd/exile. After that shit got stolen I quit for a while and started up on ladder. I botted. My entire d2 carrer started with the finding of a 30 an 29 maras on ladder, within one hours of each other. Now, I don't need to mf anymore. I just have to be selective on which char's I keep and which get stripped.

The best way to get "rich" on normal is to play your ass off on ladder, bot as much as possible, and collect ladder only items. When they switch down to normal, those become godly. That's the most efficient way to become rich, in my opinion.

It's not quick though.

To be honest, it's about 75% luck, and 25% Smart Trading. Like he said, the best chances are to bot your ASS off in Ladder, trade around and upgrade godly ethereal items, and save it ALL up for when Ladder Season ends.

Then, you need to wait a bit after Ladder ends for the flooded market to disperse and the price on Ladder godlies to go back up.

I got very rich in hardcore by mfing my azz off and getting many godlies. Then i sold them for runes to make a HOTO and CTA, along the way getting good trades.

My only concern was getting an enigma and the other expensive runewords. The only way i got those runes were from very rich friends which i helped a lot at start of ladder.
