I've had that same crap happen to me, Mantra. I got strep three years in a row when I was a kid, and had to deal with that giant wad of white gunk that had adhered itself to my tonsils for a week each time.

One year, it was so bad my parents took me to see our doctor. When he stuck that scope in my mouth to get a look at the buildup, he didn't even look through the viewfinder. He just looked at my throat and said "Jesus Christ!" He then shot me full of penecillin and tranquilizers and I slept for 19 hours.

Moral of the story? Don't eat dairy products when you've got strep. It only makes it worse.

Yes, this is my second time with strep...odd thing is, it never infects the right tonsil, only the left one...

Well, at least I don't have a fever, and it's not too serious...just a few white streaks on my left tonsil...
