question about socketing

ok i just found a eth cb on ladder and i wanted to know it i could use all my socket quest to make it a eth 6 soc cb....so i could trade it...just wanted to know if this would work...and also could i traded it as it is now for anything.

I'm almost positive it'll make any item max sockets as long as it's not magic, rare, set, crafted, or unique.

Well seeing as socketing is random with the socket quest, and u only get 1 chance at socketing an item once (no using socket quest on same item more than once) i got lucky on my ezerk last ladder with my socket quest, it got 6, so its all luck i guess. Thats all i can do to help now, cuz i dont know prices on ladder atm.

EDIT:: The number of sockets are random Bob, my friend got 4 from socket quest on ezerk he got from lister...

I suggest socketing it, it should be tradeable to some people even with 5 sockets(eternity). If you choose to socket post back here... I want to know how this went

... man, if you don't have any idea what you talking about, please shut up. If you found any items from nightmare or hell, you will get max sockets. You eth cb will get max sockets.
