Great guide and I admire your persistance and endurance to write such a long, and still interesting guide. However, there are some things that have to be pointed out:
1) Wind druids with enigma are easy, they will most likely teleport on you and try to spam, that's when smite pays off, however, if they choose for standing still and namelocking you with tornadoes.... hmm.... cyclone armor laughs at your FoH... hehe... Wind druids won't be very easy to win against.
2)FoH'ers... You seem to have dueled a lot of newbs here. My FoH'er, now deleted and traded had a 5sock caduceus, +3 conviction +3 FoH, with 5*5-5 Lightning facets. Perfect Griffon's with 5-5 Lightning facet and Exile. Conviction wasnt even near maxed, for the +skills giving it already the 150% caps. FoH dealing 8K+ damage and over 3K life + maxed block. Now the maxed block doesn't do anything good against your class, but ok. 1 point in fana, 1 in smite as the pre-req for Holy shield, maxed Holy shield, rest in defiance. Over 35K defence, which doesn't work against your class either, but ok:P. So, to start with I reduce your resist with 150%. No problem, your 4 Lo'ed shield, which gives +20% max lightning resist and some lightning resist (inherent resistances) maxed this out, combined with dual wisp, t-gods. I won't have a chance, but the same thing goes for you, so now we have to smite. Also you've stated smiters as noobs, while your build is simply Smiter and rest in FoH instead of Defiance/Charge. So now you have to use your n00b smite style against my n00b smite style. Hmm... what now... your charge won't hit me because I'm an Exile-n00b and you can't switch to angelic because you need dual wisp. Second I will use my ShaelUmTir (Crescent Moon) Phase blade. Because you need insane pre-buffing for my FoH your smite would be weak and I would still win.
3)Hammerdins own you, even if they DO teleport on you. I've never played a Hammerdin myself but I've dueled enough to know. They just spam hammerfields and have insane life. FoH = lol against them since the cast takes too long and does no dmg.
4) Zons can also throw their javelins, keep that in mind :). That's about all I got to say, don't feel offended by what I've said, it's all just pure my opinion.
Errr Smite doesn't require AR..... why would he need angelics then??
His smite is slightly, not to say insanely higher then yours... i don't see how you can win in a Smite Vs Smite match up...
By the way, you build doesn't have anything to stop his FoH....

i have a question why are you supposed to keep your holy shock/Fist of heavens the same level? does it give u better damage or something?
also is an up graded herald the best shield to use because you get +4 to smite but the damage is only 46 To 46 and it only has one socket. Griz shield has 5 to 87 damage and 3 open sockets. also if you use a griz weapon you will get a partial set bonus of +2 combat skills, and 20 str. i havent ever played a smite pally yet but i would think that a pally using griz weapon and shield would be pretty good and you would have 7 open sockets to put jewels/runes, and a higher max damage. but you would lose 20 Vitality and 2 all skills , and quite a bit of min damage.

1) i beg to differ wind druid are ez they are defensive players to the v/t foh was never meant to penetrate cyclone but to pick off oak in correct conditions, this is the point i was trying to make.
2) hence the 1 point into lighting resist aura convition is put to a haly, a 2 Lo'ed/2 ptopazed shield with tgods makes a mockery of fohers the damg becomes so miniscule as well as other facets and such, in any case a FoH'er is a nOOb class requiring no skill. when it comes down to ur smite senario, a v/t smite will be insanely higher i have acheived 2.6k with a regular HoZ i estimate around 2.4k smite with an elite class 2 Lo/2 ptopaz elite pally shield, no way in hell a foher with 1 into smite and fanat will hurt a V/t
3) your preception is wrong i have done this many times, it comes down to experience and reactions, like nce you see his concentration drop he is most likely to teleport to u hence the stop and smite his ass in 1 sec, if he manages to tele hammer you with out concentration on a continued onslaught will disprove your hypothesis. I have done this many times and left many noobs smoking(dont forget about FoH). Make a hammer din on west/non-ladder i will prove you wrong.
4) Are you going to let something hit you? besides this fact the zon will be a an EXTREME disadvantage to how smite works and the max fps CS goes at(speed- smite is faster than CS and knocks back)
ty for comments but if you have read the guide throughly is a priciple explained, it seems if you did not you wouldnt have asked these questions, i have dueled against of the best people in west including private dueling for about 2yrs now, i know what im talking about. If i were to go a lil more in depth it would get to long and boring to read, so i laid out the BASIC principles on winning and certain conditions worth mentioning as well as common occurances.

answered in game - same lvl foh/hs = most opt damg
gear - you lose some good overall versaatility bonuses(20 vit, 20%more AR, huge def bonus, +2 skills, consistent smite damage) and get stuck with using a gris caddy where as a better choice in smite weapons arrise

next question is what types of damage are carried over to the smites. because max damage charms dont seem to do anything not sure if poison or elemental damage either on weapon or in charms would work or not.

no only CB works and +str and combat gcs will affect smite (from inventory)

any high magnitude char is usually measured by how many runes you invest into one, as long as you have the gear and charms all it does is take patience

jOOOOObelette~!~!~!~!
Do not forget about the specific class gear options:
Fire Sorc:
Fire sorces can gib a v/t a good run due to mana regen, high damage and faster telporting. This is a no brainer but in case some people dont know this, toss on a Nokazan Relic and Hot SPur boots. You clear a maximum resitance of 95% Fire with high stacked fire res. It will take a 20k+ Fire baller Sorc 20-30+ hits to kill you depending on your life. If your resitances are very high, sacrifice the silence and go for Open Wounds, tele land a sorc smite her 2-3 times and back off, let the Open Wounds take full effect and repeat.
Cold Sorc:
As jOOb said, bust out a nice 30+ base elite pally shield and smack it with some saphires. My v/t has a 189% Cold res shield and when fully suited for a cold sorc, he has 553% Cold res. A nice optional pair of boots i recommend too keep in handy are Death Treads. They have 3 high restances (29 Cold) +dex and +str which gives you some more damage. Always toss on a Raven Frost as well. Itsi deal to keep a lock on these sorces, they do tele alot due to blizz and orb delay.
FoHers:
Far 2ez, if any of you think that a Foher would be a challenge you are mistaken. Tosso n a nice elite 30+ base 4 socket shield with 4x P. Topazes such as my 198% Light shield then smack a t-gods on with silence and HoZ. Foh = 60ish damage a hit giving you all the time in the world to tele land smites.
Only problems i still run itno are those DAMN NOOB ASS NECS!@nm*#N U(NF KILL EM ALL~!
